Eileen has been photographing since 1977 when she won
her first camera in a photo competition. She was the Photography
Coordinator for the Vancouver Film Festival for the over 15 years and
has photographed the likes of Vincent Price, Lillian Gish, Jack Lemmon
and Raymond Burr, among others. She has worked as a freelance
photographer for the wedding, fashion, food, architectural, and film
industries in North America and Europe. Some of her clients have
included CBC, Telefilm Canada, BC Film, National Film Board, the Academy
of Canadian Cinema & Television, BC Festival of the Arts, BC Summer
Games, BC Liquor Board, Sun Life, Rogers Cable, Hollywood Reporter, ICE
Jewelry and the Blue Ribbon Cooking School.
Showings of her work have taken place in both Vancouver and Toronto. She
has had 4 showings of her work this year, including, her current show
at University Womens’ Club. Her works cover many genres, including this
latest collection taken in Mexico, where she regularly gives retreats
for women. She is currently working on a coffee table book on home
architecture, as well as her photo website
